Dealing with the fear of criticism!

Self-Help Information You Can Use
So many people worry about criticism to the point where it's almost like they enjoy being offended. Instead of “choosing” how to feel when faced with criticism most of us already have built in knee-jerk reactions which tells us to get upset or be offended. How you ever thought about choosing differently rather than letting other people control your emotions?

Just about all of the great successes in history were brutally criticized along their journey to success but they chose to withstand the harshness of their critics and persevere. You an do this too. You can take control of your fear of criticism and overcome.

If the fear of criticism is something that burdens you then you can start overcoming this setback by staying focused on what you know in your heart is right while ignoring what other people think of you. This practice may be difficult at first but eventually you will become more focused on yourself rather than what other people think or say.

What you have to do is less reacting and more creating with your thoughts when it comes to dealing with criticism. Face the fact that there will always be people that have something to negative to say in your life.

Ironically enough most of these negative criticisms come from our family and friends along the way. But with a positive mindset and a new perception on life you will start to see these criticisms as gifts. You must learn how to use them. Dissect it. Look at it for what it really is. Use it for strength. Use it for creativity. Let it be a reminder to help you work on your perception of the world. As Lloyd Cory says, “It's 100 times easier to criticize than to create.”
